Millwright Supervisor

A position is currently available for a Millwright Supervisor for both 1st and 2nd shift. Provide supervision of craft labor in the field of Millwright which involves installing, maintaining, upgrading and fabricating machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to resolve issues in the field using relative experience and
  knowledge of codes and specifications

• Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures

• Dismantles machines

• Moves machinery and equipment
• Assembles and installs equipment such as conveyors
• Aligns machines and equipment
• Assembles machines, and bolts, welds, or otherwise fastens them to
  foundation or other structures
• Repairs and lubricates machines and equipment

• Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction

 

Qualifications:

• Must be proficient with MIG, TIG, and STICK welding

• Qualified individuals must posses a full range of knowledge as well as the ability to fabricate equipment as specified on prints
• 3-5 years experience supervising others
