Bolted Silos are constructed from an FDA approved galvanized metal which provides a maintenance free surface. The silos are sealed with FDA approved cross linked polyethylene foam sealant to prevent water infiltration. Various capacities, methods of fill and discharge are available. Accessories and safety equipment to OSHA specifications, are available to meet customer needs.

Welded Silos and Accessories
Welded silos offer ease of installation - Welded Silos are designed for delivery to the construction site as a one piece unit which is unloaded from a specially designed trailer. Lift lugs are provided to facilitate quick installation by crane on previously constructed reinforced concrete pads. Contract installation is available for bulk storage silos through CHL's Contract Department. Welded storage silos, used in conjunction with CHL's pneumatic conveying systems, are designed to meet Uniform Building Code or ANSI requirements for seismic design. Construction is to the highest quality standards and includes: Submerged arc welding of carbon steel cylinders for 100% penetration with no slag or porosity; Automatic power brushing of exterior circumferential welds to white metal finish for inspection and coating; Sand blasted interiors with high tooth profile for superior paint-to-metal bonding using high grade coatings; Stainless steel and aluminum silos are also available.
